Here's Another Wordplay Review

This time from MAXIM Magazine. (I haven't actually gotten the issue with the review in print yet, but I'll be otherwise distracted when that issue comes to my house.)

Nice little review, considering the movie has no "Maxim"-like eye candy.

You'd be surprised that Maxim is very even minded when it comes to movies without a lot of gratuitous skin. But they, along with a lot of other reviewers, were rightly mesmerized by the film, and I really think it's going to be a contender come Oscar time for the best documentary.

I did get the current issue of Maxim (my wife, rest her soul, in a rare moment of weakness, actually let me subscribe) and somehow the review isn't actually in the magazine.

What, Ellen? I thought *I* was "Maxim"-like eye candy. No? :-)

I wish that Wordplay is playing in Savannah, but I'll just have to settle for both X-Men 3 and Superman Returns for the time being.
